Chef's Choice International Folding Electric Slicer. Home cooks who need an electric slicer once in a while but don't want a bulky machine on the counter all the time will appreciate this appliance's 100-watt power and foldaway compactness. Simply twisting a knob enables a cook to slice cheeses, meats, vegetables such as tomatoes, fruits such as lemons, and breads with a thickness ranging from paper-thin to about 1/2 inch. The 6-3/4-inch stainless-steel blade handles foods up to about that height and up to about 5 inches wide. Unfolded, the slicer measures 13-1/4 by 7-3/4 by 7-3/4 inches. Folded flat for storage in a cabinet or drawer, it is only 3-3/8 inches thick.
